Last saturday, we had a special Freestyle session in Shibuya. I organized this event and gathered some Hip Hop artists. They improvised their rap and played with words. I know some of them but others are new faces. I really enjoyed it. My friend YOSHI helped shooting and editing this video.

Next Project

For nexr production, I am going to take a underground HIP HOP people in the city. I will gather some guys who can rap and beatbox and make a cypher on the street or the place where we can see audience's reaction. I am planning that it is held in the AKIHABARA, ASAKUSA, SIBUYA, and KABUKICHOU. Maybe my friends Krazymo helps me to shoot the video. This is a big project for me, so it might take time. I'll publish this maybe in the middle of JULY.

Freestyle Session on the Street in AZABU

Yesterday, after the class, my friend THE SAPIENCE and I got together and freestyled in Azabu Juban.
On Freestyling, We improvise things what we wanna express to society, other people, and ourselves. Freestyling is one of ways how we relieve the stress in daily life. The Sapience belongs to the Temple University. We know each other about two years ago. We always jammin on the corner of smoking area. His rhyming and flow has really improved recently. Holiday

We had long holiday last week. I worked on some projects of BTMM. On saturday, I went to the Asakusa(Sennsouji) and started shooting. Why I chose the Asakusa is because I wanted to take spiritual picture that people prays to Kami. Specially, I focused on how they prayed and how their expression was. My impression, when they pray, is that everyone had different way of expression. One had a severe face, some had promising face. In any case, their face was really spiritual. So what I wanna produce with that picture is that adding some spiritual sounds on that.

One more thing I worked on was recoring of my beat box sound. Overdubbing only two tracks with some effects, I made it. I am supposed to publish that in class on wednesday.

MY MACHINE

This is my favorite machine(Roland SP 606). I use this machine for making loop sound such as HIP HOP, techno, and other dance music. I can controll this machine in a very simple way, like with one push button, I can record any sound from outside. Recently, I really like to record the environmental sound like sonud of car engine, bird's singing, human voice, train station etc. It's very enjoyable to record those kinds of natural action.

Spiritual Sound

Now, I'm working on the project in BTMM class.
What I'm making now is mixture of degital sonnd and tribe music. The image of this sound is "meditation."Everyday, i try to meditate by thinking nothing. I wanted to express this meditative world with any sound. .
I want everybody hear the earth beat(voice) through my production.
About half of my work is done already. I gonna show you next week.

In this course(BTMM), I need to make 7 production, 2 for video and 5 for sound
in my case. This is the first time to record a film for me, so I have to learn many things
about video(shooting or screening).
